What pill is it? It is 10 mg cyclobenzaprine (brand name Flexeril), a muscle relaxant used to relieve pain, tenderness and muscle spasms. It works by blocking nerve pain impulses sent to the brain.

Pliva 469 Propranolol Pill

Among five strengths of Propranolol HCl manufactured and marketed by Pliva, Inc., PLIVA 469 is found right in the middle of the row. It is 40mg (Pliva's propranolol pills range from 10mg to 80mg). Pliva 469 is is a non-selective beta blocker mainly used to treat hypertension and various heart problems. Pliva makes a generic version of the medication which can otherwise be available under brand names Inderal and InnoPran XL. Pliva 469 pill is easily distinguished by its light green color.

Pliva 787 Pill

Today we shall examine one more special pill, indexed PLIVA 787. What makes it special? The fact that it is one of the medications discovered and initially launched on the market by Pliva, Inc. herself. Pliva 787 is azithromycin, a well-known and widely popular antibiotic (also available under the brand name Zithromax distributed by Pfitzer).

Each little oval white Pliva 787 pill contains 250 mg of azithromycin. The medication is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections affecting skin, respiratory systen, urinary tract, middle ear and so on.

Pliva 459

Pliva 459 pill is used to treat different kinds of respirarory disorders, such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. Each oval Pliva 459 contains 300mg theophylline. The medication works by relaxing the muscle surrounding the bronchial tubes of the lungs. As a result, air passages in the lungs widen and breathing becomes easier.

Pliva 459 pills are a generic version of the drug which can be also available under various brand names that include: Nuelin, Quibron-T, Slo-Bid, Theolair, Theox, Theo-24, Uni-dur and Uniphyl.

Pliva 456

It is a "special" pill. Each Pliva 456 contains 5 mg oxybuntin chloride, a substance that helps to resist frequent or urgent urination (which may be especially useful during the night). It works by reducing muscle spasms of the bladder and urinary tract. In pills, the medication is also available as name brand Ditropan. However, it is needless to remind that Pliva, Inc. manufactures a generic version of the medication.

Pliva 441 Pill

Pliva 441 pill has a special shape, easily recognizable, though not as easily described. It is a trapezoid, divided by a score into two halves on one side (this side is indexed with PLIVA and 441 placed on each half separately), and into three equal parts by two scores on the other (each part is marked with "50").

Each Pliva 441 contains 150mg trazodone hydrochloride, which is an antidepressant with anxiolytic and hypnotic properties. And the scores enable you to divide the pill into smaller strengths of 50mg or 75mg (very convenient and helpful feature, we must admit).

Pliva 441 trazodone pills are normally used for treatment of depression, and sometimes as an anti-anxiety medicine, and, due to their sedative qualities, even as a pain reliever.

Pliva 470 Pill

Pliva 470 is a little round pill, pink-colored, debossed with PLIVA 470 index on one side. The other side has a score, with no letters or numbers. It is a propranolol pill, which belongs to the family of special heart medications called beta blockers. Generic propranolol is produced by a number of manufacturers, but Pliva 470 pills can be set apart in this row, as each pill contains 60 mg of propranolol hydrochloride - a strength which cannot be found among other manufacturers' products. E.g., this strength fills the gap in Mylan's propranolol products: Mylan 184 (40 mg) and Mylan 185 (80 mg).
